I’m Bethany Seib, a visual arts educator, hoop-skating instructor, performer, and lifelong roller skater. I combine roller skating, hoop dance, and visual art to create playful learning experiences for participants of varied ages and skill levels. I offer adaptable workshops for schools, camps, skating events, arts organizations, festivals, private events, and community programs.
Through workshops in hoop skating, hoop making, and movement, participants develop coordination, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills while discovering the connections between art and STEM.
Today, I bring these experiences together as an artist and educator, teaching hoop skating, hoop making, movement arts, and creative STEAM workshops. I have taught hoop skating at RollerCon in 2025 and 2026 and continue to explore new ways of connecting movement, visual art, technology, music, and hands-on learning.
